In this customer-facing role, you will lead the planning, design, validation, and implementation of cutting-edge data center networking solutions supporting AI factories, GPU-accelerated environments, and large-scale enterprise infrastructures.\nYou will work directly with customers to architect high-performance network fabrics, drive successful deployments, and provide technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle. You will also play a key role in influencing product strategy by providing feedback to engineering and product teams based on customer requirements and industry trends.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, architect, and validate modern Ethernet-based data center networks.\nDeliver technical guidance throughout customer engagements, from requirements gathering through deployment and optimization.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams supporting server infrastructure, GPU clusters, AI/ML workloads, and accelerated computing environments.\nDevelop and evaluate automation solutions to streamline network operations and provisioning.\nCreate network configuration templates, deployment workflows, and operational best practices.\nImplement and validate scalable network architectures across customer environments.\nConduct design reviews, technical workshops, customer presentations, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs).\nTroubleshoot complex networking issues and drive successful resolution during deployment and production phases.\nDeliver knowledge transfer sessions and comprehensive deployment documentation to customers and stakeholders.\nRequired Qualifications\n7+ years of hands-on networking experience.\nStrong expertise in:\nLayer 2 and Layer 3 networking\nEthernet switching\nTCP/IP protocols\nData center network architectures\nExperience designing and validating next-generation data center fabrics.\nProven customer-facing experience gathering requirements and delivering technical solutions.\nDeep understanding of VXLAN-EVPN based network fabrics.\nLinux \nExperience with network automation tools such as:\nAnsible\nSalt\nPuppet\nAbility to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive customer success.\nExperience creating technical documentation and supporting deployment handovers.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.\nCCNP or equivalent networking certification preferred.\nPreferred Qualifications\nCandidates with the following experience will stand out:\nAdvanced networking certifications such as:\nCCIE\nJNCIE\nACE-E (Data Center)\nLinux administration or engineering certifications.\nHands-on experience with Cumulus Linux / Cumulus OS.\nKnowledge of InfiniBand networking and AI cluster connectivity.\nStrong communication and presentation skills combined with deep technical expertise.\nExperience supporting AI infrastructure, high-performance computing (HPC), or GPU networking environments.\nWhy Join Matrix?\nMatrix is a global technology services and consulting organization with over 17,000 employees worldwide.
