document defects/conditions\nPerform basic track maintenance and repairs using hand and power tools\nAssist with track repairs, ballast work, fasteners, and rerailing as needed\nLog inbound railcars and complete the site's established railcar inspection checklist\nDocument railcar defects and communicate cars requiring additional repair\nPerform basic non-lading railcar repairs within the site's approved scope, including permitted brake-related items, placards, and other minor repairs\nMaintain inspection and repair records\nWork safely around railcars, locomotives, tracks, and other heavy equipment\nPerforms other duties as required to support safe and efficient track operations\nJob Qualifications:\nTrack inspection/maintenance experience preferred.\nRailcar or industrial/mechanical experience is a plus.\nMay require a valid Driver’s License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location\n18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.\nPass a drug screen, physical, and background check\nWear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams\nSpeak, write, read fluent English\nRegular on-site attendance and punctuality is required\nPrevious military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a
