Reporting to the Tax Director, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s tax compliance, reporting, and planning efforts. This position will focus on assisting with quarterly and annual tax provisions, tax return preparation, audits, transfer pricing, and special projects while ensuring adherence to global tax regulations.\nThe ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoy working on complex tax matters. \nKey Responsibilities:\nLead the preparation of quarterly and annual worldwide consolidated tax provisions (ASC 740) and related financial statement disclosures.\nManage the preparation and filing of global corporate income tax returns, tax credits (e.g., R&D), and incentives.\nPrepare and maintain tax-related accounts as part of the monthly accounting close process.\nServe as a key point of contact for external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual tax audits.\nMaintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting to ensure SOX compliance across global tax operations.\nPartner with cross-functional teams on transfer pricing documentation, intercompany transactions, and special tax planning initiatives.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\n5+ years of corporate income tax experience in public accounting (Big Four preferred) or a global multinational corporation.\nStrong knowledge of US GAAP (specifically ASC 740) and experience preparing income tax provisions and disclosures.\nProficient Excel skills. \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nCertified Public Accountant (CPA) license or Master’s in Taxation (MST).\nPrior experience with SOX compliance or internal controls.\nExperience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite).\nBackground in the technology or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) industry.\nThis role is required to be in the San Francisco office 2 days per week.\nThe base salary range for this position is 114,000 - 191,400 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.\nOur base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position.
