Job Summary:

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of asset reliability strategies that ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of critical equipment. This role oversees the Equipment engineering technicians and collaborates cross-functionally to improve equipment performance, reduce unplanned downtime, and drive continuous improvement through predictive and preventive maintenance practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage equipment reliability programs, including Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to equipment uptime, maintenance costs, and mean time between failures (MTBF).
• Oversee the implementation of condition monitoring technologies such as vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound, and oil analysis.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to drive asset optimization strategies and long-term capital planning.
• Lead reliability improvement initiatives and projects to enhance overall plant performance and reduce lifecycle costs.
• Manage and develop a team of reliability engineers and technicians.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all reliability-related activities.
• Maintain accurate asset data in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Provide technical guidance and support for equipment selection, installation, and commissioning.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
• Professional certification such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) is preferred.
• 7+ years of reliability engineering or maintenance management experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in CMMS systems and reliability analysis tools (e.g., Weibull analysis, SAP PM, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of predictive maintenance tools and condition monitoring techniques.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Computer knowledge is required.
• Experience in a Lean / Six Sigma environment strongly preferred.
• Experience operating in a team environment and leading teams are helpful.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrate sound work ethics and be able to deal with public in a positive, courteous and respectful manner.
• Able to handle high stress situations, knowledge of SOP’s and GMP’s. Able to work independently.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
