This role oversees the Equipment engineering technicians and collaborates cross-functionally to improve equipment performance, reduce unplanned downtime, and drive continuous improvement through predictive and preventive maintenance practices.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nDevelop and manage equipment reliability programs, including Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).\nMonitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to equipment uptime, maintenance costs, and mean time between failures (MTBF).\nOversee the implementation of condition monitoring technologies such as vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound, and oil analysis.\nCollaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to drive asset optimization strategies and long-term capital planning.\nLead reliability improvement initiatives and projects to enhance overall plant performance and reduce lifecycle costs.\nManage and develop a team of reliability engineers and technicians.\nEnsure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all reliability-related activities.\nMaintain accurate asset data in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).\nProvide technical guidance and support for equipment selection, installation, and commissioning.\nEducation and/or Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.\nProfessional certification such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) is preferred.\n7+ years of reliability engineering or maintenance management experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.\n3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nProficient in CMMS systems and reliability analysis tools (e.g., Weibull analysis, SAP PM, etc.).\nExcellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.\nKnowledge of predictive maintenance tools and condition monitoring techniques.\nExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.\nComputer knowledge is required.\nExperience in a Lean / Six Sigma environment strongly preferred.\nExperience operating in a team environment and leading teams are helpful.\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrate sound work ethics and be able to deal with public in a positive, courteous and respectful manner.\nAble to handle high stress situations, knowledge of SOP’s and GMP’s.
