• Delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (design, implementation, testing, delivery and operations), based on definitions from more senior roles.
• Advises immediate management on project-level issues
• Guides junior engineers
• Operates with little day-to-day supervision, making technical decisions based on knowledge of internal conventions and industry best practices
• Applies knowledge of technical best practices in making decisions

What you need to know about the role:

As a Salesforce Developer you will design, build, and implement Standard and Custom applications on the Salesforce platform utilizing Salesforce declarative capabilities and custom coding capabilities (Apex, Lightning Web & Aura Components) when necessary. You should be able to work within a team environment utilizing DevSecOps processes and tools.

Salesforce Developer will be implementing medium/large scale initiatives.

Your day to day:

• Requirement analysis: Collaborate with product manager, and other stakeholders to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements, and transform them into technical solutions.
• Design and development: Design, develop, and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), or other Salesforce development tools and technologies. This includes creating custom objects, fields, triggers, workflows, validation rules, and other Salesforce components.
• Integration: Integrate Salesforce applications with external systems using APIs, web services, or other integration methods to ensure seamless data exchange between systems.
• Data migration and management: Migrate, manipulate, and manage data within Salesforce using tools like Data Loader, Import Wizard, or custom scripts to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Testing and quality assurance: Perform unit testing, functional testing, and integration testing to ensure developed applications meet requirements and function correctly. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to support user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolve any identified issues.
• Deployment and release management: Use deployment tools and methodologies to deploy Salesforce applications from development to production environments, following best practices for version control, change management, and release management.
• Performance optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of Salesforce applications, addressing issues like performance bottlenecks, long-running queries, or inefficient code.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for developed applications, including design documents, user guides, and release notes, to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available for users and other team members.
• Troubleshooting and support: Provide ongoing support for Salesforce applications, addressing user issues, resolving bugs, and implementing enhancements as needed.

What do you need to bring:

Must Have:

• Role: 4+ Years of Salesforce Developer experience in implementing custom solutions, actively contributing to parallel build activities. Experience includes Salesforce administration, customization, and configuration using tools such as VS Code with APEX PMD, Sonar Lint, ES Lint, etc

• Education: Master’s Degree or BE / BTech in Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Engineering.

• FinTech Industry Knowledge
• Integrations - SOAP, Rest, Bulk, Tooling APIs
• Data Migration - Dataloader, Dataloader.io and similar tools
• AppExchange Implementation Knowledge - Quip, D&B Connect, Apttus/Conga CLM, Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce Advanced Approval, Apttus/Conga Advanced Approval Process, Apttus Migration Manager, OwnBackup
• Einstein Experience - AI Tools, Tableau CRM, CRMA, Einstein for Developer etc
• Integration Tools - Boomi, Cast Iron, Informatica Cloud and similar tools
