Our customers come to us with a hunch that the only way to protect their troops, manufacture high-quality products, structure effective healthcare policies, or deliver aid to refugees safely is to make better use of their data. Deployment Strategists are responsible for turning that hunch into reality.\nIf you believe in the transformational power of data and technology and in your own ability to bring that power to bear against complex problems, we want to meet you.\nWhat We Do\nAs a Deployment Strategist, you'll work as part of a driven and creative team of Engineers, Product Designers, and other Deployment Strategists to deploy software against the most challenging problems our world faces. Your mission is to synthesize disconnected streams of thought into a cohesive understanding of what the most important problem is, what the data means, what the product needs, what users are motivated by, and where the impact could be.\nDeployment Strategists are do-ers who immerse themselves in our customers' most intricate workflows, partner with customer teams and explore the data, and dive into the product landscape to enable us to scale. A select number of Deployments Strategists may also be deployed to Palantir internal teams and problems. In this role, the problems you'll tackle will require a curious and analytical mindset, a sharp intuition for product, and a strong degree of user empathy to ultimately empower our customers to make better decisions.\nNo two days are the same, but as a Deployment Strategist you can expect to:\nGo onsite and meet with customer analysts to understand the critical questions they need to answer and locate their biggest pain points.\nIdentify relevant datasets through deep engagement with customer problems and workflows, and work with Forward Deployed Engineers to integrate the data into a stable and extensible pipeline.\nWork with the customer to build bespoke workflows for new user groups.\nLead training sessions to ensure that the product is meeting user needs, and to ensure it is being used widely enough to have concrete impact on our partners' operations.\nPresent the results of our work and proposals for future work to audiences ranging from analysts to C-suite executives.\nEmbed with our Software Engineering and Product Design teams to incorporate what you saw in the field into cross-Palantir product offerings.\nBuild and deliver demos to new and existing customers.\nScope out potential engagements in new industries and in increasingly expanding locations around the world.\nWhat We Value\nWe value team members who aren’t satisfied with surface-level answers. We value the desire to dive into the details of the data because that’s the core of our work. And we value low ego because the outcome matters more than who gets the credit.\nExtraordinary ability to take on open-ended problems in unstructured environments.\nAdaptive and introspective; willing to learn, teach, lead and follow.\nAbility to travel 25 - 75% required. Varies by location and team.\nExperience with programming, scripting or statistical packages (e.g. Python, R, Matlab, SQL) is a plus.\nWhat We Require\nActive Top Secret Clearance with eligibility and willingness to obtain SCI","description_format":"text","description_chars":3340,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":true,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United States","iso":"US","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Data Integration & ETL Tools","Decision Intelligence","Defense AI"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-23T16:13:29Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"US","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"H-1B filings in 12 months: 207 · green card filings: 38","filings_12m":207,"filings_prev_12m":125,"green_card_filings_12m":38,"median_offered_wage_usd":150949,"route":null,"cap_exempt":false,"checked_at":"2026-10-29T16:27:21+00:00","sources":["US Department of Labor: LCA disclosure data (H-1B, H-1B1, E-3)","US Department of Labor: PERM disclosure data (green cards)"],"filings_for_role_12m":0}],"liveness":{"score":90,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.903,"p_room":1,"age_days":12,"expected_fill_days":166,"reasons":["conf:5","velocity","win:early","comp:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-11-05T05:54:30Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/palantir-technologies-deployment-strategist-germany-forward-deployed","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/palantir-technologies-deployment-strategist-germany-forward-deployed.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-11-05T21:19:25Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":1041,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-11-06T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":24},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=24"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fpalantir-technologies-deployment-strategist-germany-forward-deployed"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fpalantir-technologies-deployment-strategist-germany-forward-deployed"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fpalantir-technologies-deployment-strategist-germany-forward-deployed"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/palantir-technologies-deployment-strategist-germany-forward-deployed\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fpalantir-technologies-deployment-strategist-germany-forward-deployed"}],"agent":{"mcp":"https://alion.io/mcp/jobs","mcp_open":"https://alion.io/mcp/open","next":[{"tool":"get_job","arguments":{"id":3161223}},{"tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":"palantir.com","detail":"compact"}},{"tool":"match_people","arguments":{"job_id":3161223},"note":"people open to offers who fit this vacancy"}],"note":"The same data through MCP tools: https://alion.io/mcp/open needs no sign-in (compact searches, postings, people); https://alion.io/mcp with an Alion account has everything.
