Conducts training for placement testing and responds to inquiries. Identifies and troubleshoots minor technical issues during the testing process as per established policies. Position requires the ability to work a fluctuating schedule, including nights and weekends.What a day of a Test Center Representative looks like:\nSets up tests according to established protocol. Monitors the administration of various tests. Scans, scores and electronically submits test scores.\nResponds to complex inquiries from all levels of employees or external sources regarding a variety of questions, such as clarification of College or Campus policy and procedures.\nDirects students to proper portions of testing software and addresses minor problems.\nEnsures security and confidentiality of State, national, and college tests and records, scoring procedures and data collection and reporting.\nProvides students with disabilities with reading and scribe services.\nWelcomes and assists persons who come into the department.\nProvides administrative support to the department.\nPerforms other job-related duties as assigned.\nWe’d love to hear from you if you have the following:\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or GED with additional training related to the position\nOne year of related experience\nKnowledge of:\nMicrosoft Office Professional or similar application\nSkilled in:\nAttention to detail while maintaining effective time and task management\nAbility to:\nEffectively communicate verbally and in writing on a regular basis with internal and external customers, build relationships, manage customer expectations and take responsibility for a high level of service\nLicenses, Registration, Certifications, or Special Requirements:\nRegular physical attendance required\nWork Environment and Physical Demand:\nReach and grasp objects\nStoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl\nStand for extended periods of time\nUse of video display terminal\nUse of manual dexterity and fine motor skills\nCommunicate information orally and in writing\nReceive and understand information through oral and written communication\nProofread and check documents for accuracy\nWork a fluctuating work schedule\nThis job description is intended to be generic in nature and describe the essential functions of the job.
