You will be responsible for maintaining an issued cash bank throughout your shift. You will also be actively marketing yourself and the establishment through various social media outreach and staff outings. Other benefits include a 401(k) Plan, with an employer matching contribution, paid life & disability coverage, and more.\nEssential Job Functions:\nJob duties include; although are not limited to:\nConsistently following Food & Beverage sequence of service utilizing all proper procedures standardized by venue managers and chefs\nExhibiting proper knowledge, selling techniques and service delivery of both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, and any menu items offered while maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the bar\nAnticipating the guests’ needs and responding appropriately with a sense of urgency \nCleaning of all equipment, tools, and supplies and maintaining equipment in good working order while following all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, department and County health department.\nWorking as a team and effectively communicating with management, bartenders and service staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and/or other Associates.\nQualifications:\n3 years restaurant experience and/or 2 years’ experience bartending in a similar establishment. Must have extensive knowledge of Spirits, Wine and Food\nMust possess good attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure\nExcellent customer service skills and a Positive attitude are required\nAbility to read and write in English proficiently\nMust have basic math skills and be able to use a calculator\nMust be 21 years of age and possess Tips and Food Handlers cards\nAll Palmetto Bluff employees who serve alcohol or who oversee employees who serve alcohol must obtain or hold a valid SC-approved Alcohol Server Training Certificate (company reimbursed).\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. \nMust be physically able to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment as well as delicate china and glassware.
