You will contribute to the success of the Resort supporting the departments who ensure the cleanliness and quality of all the resort rental units. By supporting our company's Noble Purpose, your top priority will be to \"care about our guests, and the impact you make on their lives.\"\nThis position is responsible for the overall working order of all the resort rental units within contractual guidelines as defined by the Director of Property Management. This position reports to the General Maintenance Manager.\nWhen interacting with each guest, leave them with a \"WOW\" story to tell about their experience\nShare customer impact stories with your team in meetings and with management.\nMaintain all rental units in proper working order as defined by the Property Management Division.\nInspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.\nRecord type and cost of maintenance or repair work\nRepair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment where applicable.\nUse tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices\nAssist in gathering quotes from 3rd party vendors for renovations or repairs.\nEstimate repair costs.\nPerform repairs to rental property as needed during occupancy of units\nScheduling with tenants to gain access for repair work as needed.\nRespond to emergency calls when directed by employer or office staff.\nPrioritize work to complete assignments in a timely manner.\nComplete daily work record forms and job assignment sheets\nComplete other related paperwork as directed\nOrder parts, supplies, and equipment from catalogs and suppliers, or obtain them from storerooms.\nConduct minor repairs as needed such as the replacement of items where no certification is required.\nPerforming preventative maintenance to reduce the risk of future problems\nWork with other service providers for items not covered under our contractual agreements\nEnsure the integrity of every rental unit, addressing issues in a timely manner.\nAssist in the management of the check-in and checkout communication process with the front desk through effective management analysis and keeping them well informed of issues that impact guest stay.\nCommunicate existing and potential issues with your supervisors and PM Team\nOversee special projects as requested and/or needed by the Property Management Division.\nReview items not covered under the maintenance program and bill for work that is done if 3rd party vendor not required.\nPerforms minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.) using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools.\nPerforms minor plumbing maintenance (e.g. replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, etc.) to provide operable and efficient plumbing capabilities.\nAssists in performing scheduled and \"as needed\" inspection and preventive maintenance on tools and equipment to maintain operability of the tools and equipment.\nAttend work unit staff meetings to obtain and disseminate information and participate in discussions on appropriate resolutions to problems.\nReplaces / Update or Repair (e.g. smoke alarms, cabinets, shelves, tile, light fixtures, filter systems, etc.) to provide a safe, comfortable working\nRequirements\nMust have two years historical work experience in a maintenance related field.
