You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, production-ready apps. You will have autonomy to drive initiatives end-to-end, maintaining high engineering standards and clear communication that minimizes rework.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain iOS applications using Swift, with strong command of advanced language concepts.\n\nBuild interfaces using UIKit and SwiftUI, prioritizing visual consistency, accessibility, and an excellent user experience.\n\nDefine and apply maintainable architectures such as MVVM and/or Clean Architecture (clear layers, responsibilities, and testability).\n\nManage data persistence and storage strategies using Core Data, Realm, or advanced local storage approaches.\n\nImplement concurrency using GCD and/or Swift Concurrency (async/await) to ensure smooth performance and responsiveness.\n\nIntegrate RESTful APIs, including authentication (OAuth/JWT), error handling, retries, and request optimization (caching, throttling when applicable).\n\nActively participate in code reviews, refactoring, and continuous improvement of the codebase.\n\nSupport the full lifecycle: TestFlight, App Store releases, publishing, monitoring, hotfixes, and post-release enhancements.\n\nIdentify technical risks and propose alternatives when requirements impact performance or feasibility, communicating clearly with a value-driven mindset.\n\nWho You Are\nExpert-level proficiency in Swift and its advanced concepts.\n\nStrong experience with UIKit and SwiftUI (able to choose the right approach depending on the use case).\n\nSolid knowledge of architectures such as MVVM and Clean Architecture.\n\nHands-on experience with local persistence using Core Data, Realm, or other robust strategies.\n\nStrong concurrency skills using GCD and/or Swift Concurrency (async/await).\n\nExperience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating authentication (OAuth, JWT) following security best practices.\n\nFamiliarity with the Apple ecosystem: TestFlight, App Store, release processes, and ongoing maintenance.\n\nAble to solve complex problems end-to-end with minimal supervision.\n\nHigh attention to detail and strong standards for visual quality, UX, and final polish.\n\nCritical thinking to challenge requirements when they impact performance/feasibility, and propose better solutions.\n\nAssertive, precise communication focused on concrete actions and reducing rework.\n\nMore About PALO IT\nOur clients include some of the world’s most successful companies.
