An affiliate of Life-Science Innovations, PALS is a retail supplier of agricultural equipment, feed, and medications serving the hog, poultry and cattle industries.\nResponsibilities:\nThis role will be responsible for a variety of tasks to control the flow of stock through the warehouse, monitoring goods in and out, safely and efficiently moving and handling items and keeping organized inventory records.\nMaterial Handling and Warehouse:\nLoads and unloads products and supplies from trucks. \nMoves items from receiving areas to storage. \nMarks materials with identifying information, using a stencil, a crayon or other marking device. Sorts and places products or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to a predetermined designation. \nAssembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves. \nGathers items from bins or shelves and ensure the order is complete and correct. \nEnters number of products distributed into a computerized inventory system. \nPrepares packing slips using a computer. \nChecks in and re-shelves returned merchandise. \nAnswers questions or refers concerns by communicating proactively and demonstrating commitment to high quality service.\nMay drive a company vehicle, at times pulling a trailer, to deliver merchandise to local customers or to pick up items from local merchants.\nCleans assigned areas. \nNotifies management of any spills of hazardous materials. \nMay be asked to assist the Service Department with on-site installation. \nMinimum Qualifications:Experience operating a forklift \n3 plus years of prior warehouse experience preferred\nAbility to lift a minimum of 50 lbs\nBasic math skills required\nStrong verbal, written and listening communication skills\nOrganizational and time-management skills.\nFlexibility in adjusting to changing situations.\nWilling to learn basic computer operations\nWilling to work both indoors and outdoors\nHave a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willing to be a team player \nGeneral working hours are Monday- Friday between 7:00AM-4:00PM; Must be available to meet customer needs beyond the normal workday when needed.Core Company Values:\nService- Working with coworkers and customers to identify and meet their needs. \nEmployee Wellbeing - Creating a safe and healthy work environment that facilitates the wellbeing of each employee from a whole-life perspective. \nIntegrity - Adhering to a strong code of moral and ethical principles. \nQuality - Providing a degree of excellence measured against a similar standard. \nDependability - The quality of being counted on to produce results with consistency.\nBenefits at PALS:We are proud to offer a generous benefit package in addition to competitive compensation.
