If you have strong manufacturing expertise, enjoy solving technical challenges, and can bridge the gap between product development and mass production, then you might be our next Supervisor, Design for Manufacturing (DFM) at Pandora Production.\nWe love that you will…\nEarly Testing & Manufacturing Readiness\nCollaborate with Product Development and represent the plant in early technology testing and innovation initiatives.\n\nExecute and analyze early test samples to verify product and process performance, providing technical feedback and improvement recommendations to development teams.\n\nEstablish initial process parameters, routing, tooling requirements, and manufacturing methods based on testing results.\n\nIdentify technical and manufacturing risks early and recommend preventive actions to ensure readiness for mass production.\n\n3D Printing & Technical Design\nSupervise and coordinate 3D wax printing activities, including job setup, printing, support cleaning, quality monitoring, and troubleshooting.\n\nUtilize CAD/CAM tools such as Rhinoceros and relevant 3D printing software to support product development, product enhancement, and sprue design.\n\nMonitor printing quality and resolve technical issues to ensure samples meet required specifications and quality standards.\n\nWork closely with Product Development and technical teams to translate product designs into practical manufacturing solutions.\n\nProduct Master & Process Standardization\nLead the design and optimization of Product Master and sprue configurations to ensure quality and mass production readiness.\n\nEstablish and maintain Product Master, routing, and related technical standards to ensure consistency and accuracy.\n\nWork closely with Product Development to implement product improvements, technical specifications, and preventive actions.\n\nProvide technical feedback and ensure plant manufacturing requirements are correctly implemented during product development.\n\nManage and maintain Internal Change Control (ICC) documentation related to product and manufacturing changes.\n\nNew Machine & Process Implementation\nSupport the evaluation, testing, introduction, and implementation of new machines, technologies, and manufacturing processes.\n\nAssess new processes and equipment to improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity, and product quality.\n\nCoordinate with relevant teams to ensure smooth equipment installation, testing, process validation, and production implementation.\n\nSupport technical training and knowledge transfer to prepare production teams for new equipment and manufacturing processes.\n\nPrototype to Mass Production Readiness\nProvide engineering specifications and technical support throughout the product development journey, from prototypes and 3D casting to production samples and mass production.\n\nEnsure production sample testing, validation, and related documentation are completed accurately and within required timelines.\n\nVerify Product Master duplication for REP and analyze results to identify improvements before mass production release.\n\nTrack and improve REP testing activities to support production targets and successful new product launches.\n\nWork effectively within demanding new product timelines and available resources while achieving quality, productivity, cost, and delivery expectations.\n\nStandard Time, Routing & BOM Accuracy\nRecord and maintain standard time information during early testing phases.\n\nProvide technical support for standard time estimation in DC1.\n\nEstablish and maintain accurate manufacturing routing information based on actual production processes and technical requirements.\n\nSupport BOM accuracy and ensure manufacturing information is aligned with product specifications and production requirements.\n\nCollaborate with relevant teams to improve manufacturing standards, productivity, quality, and cost performance.\n\nEnsure all activities comply with company policies, procedures, quality requirements, and applicable manufacturing standards.\n\nWe love that you are…\nDiploma or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Jewellery and Gem Design, Manufacturing, or a related field.\n\nAt least 5 years of experience in jewellery manufacturing, product development, or a manufacturing environment.\n\nExperience supporting new products from prototype or testing stages through to mass production.\n\nGood understanding of manufacturing processes, Product Master, routing, BOM, and standard time.\n\nExperience with CAD/CAM, 3D printing, or Rhinoceros would be an advantage.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and cross-functional coordination skills.\n\nGood English communication skills would be an advantage.\n\nAbout Pandora\nPandora is the world's largest jewellery brand, specialising in the design, crafting and marketing of accessible luxury jewellery made from high-quality materials.
