This expertise assures you of our ability to handle the largest and most complex packages quickly and efficiently.\nJob Summary:\nPanelmatic is seeking skilled an Assembly Weld Technician to join our manufacturing team. The Assembly Weld Technician builds the foundational frames, bases, and assemblies that serve as the structural backbone of Panelmatic’s engineered enclosures. This role combines craftsmanship, precision, and teamwork to ensure each unit is fabricated to specification, meets quality standards, and supports efficient downstream assembly. Operators progress through defined tiers (I-III) based on demonstrated skill, independence, and contribution to team performance.\nJob Duties:\nInterpret fabrication and weld drawings accurately to prepare, align, and assemble structural components.\nPerform MIG welding on mild and stainless steel in accordance with established quality standards.\nMeasure, fit, and align channels, beams, and components using squares, grinders, and layout tools.\nOperate shears, brake press, torches, plasma cutters, and overhead cranes safely and efficiently.\nConduct finishing work including grinding, cleaning, and verification of conformance to drawings.\nFollow quality assurance procedures, check for distortion, and document inspection results.\nMaintain clean, organized, and safe work areas aligned with 5S principles, returning tools to their proper locations each day.\nCommunicate proactively with supervisors and cross-functional teams regarding materials, progress, and issues.\nNotify the lead person or Inspector when the product is ready for inspection\nAssemble building components used in power distribution and control system buildings.\nRead and interpret drawing packages, detail drawings, blueprints, and bills of materials (BOMs).\nInstall and assemble wall panels, ceiling panels, roof structures, trim, door openings, steel support structures, wall penetration frames, interior wall liners, insulation, door systems and hardware.\nPerform in process checks for correct dimensions including, penetration locations, rough opening sizes and locations, individual panel sizes, overall building dimensions and squareness.\nUse hand tools, power tools, and specialty equipment safely and effectively.\nConduct visual inspections of completed assemblies.\nEnsure all assemblies meet quality, safety, and customer requirements.\nMaintain production documentation and accurately record completed work.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.\nFollow all company safety policies and procedures.\nRequirements\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nCertification in MIG welding.\nPrior experience in industrial or modular fabrication environments.\n1-3 years of experience in metal fabrication or welding.\nUS work authorization without sponsorship required\nAbility to read blueprints and use measurement tools.\nMIG welding proficiency (mild and stainless steel).\nStructural fit-up and layout accuracy\nEquipment setup and operation (press brake, plasma cutter, shears).\nDimensionnel verification and QA documentation.\nTwo plus years of experience in the use basic tools (squares, clamps, fillet gauge, angle grinder, etc.) required\nTwo plus years of experience in shear, brake press, turret punch, CNC laser, ironworker, band saw, welding machine, cutting torch, plasma cutter, grinder, overhead crane, ratchet straps, and other hand tools required\nBenefits\nMedical, dental,
