Every system is carefully engineered, manufactured, and assembled using proven components and industry-recognized practices to ensure consistent performance in demanding environments.\nJob Summary:\nThe Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective production. This role partners with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and supply chain to drive continuous improvement, support new product introductions, and solve complex production challenges.\nJob Duties:\nDevelop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain quality standards.\nCollaborate with product design and engineering teams to support new product introductions, including process design, prototyping, and validation.\nConduct time studies, workflow analyses, and capacity planning to optimize production lines.\nTroubleshoot manufacturing issues, implement corrective actions, and provide technical support to production teams.\nDevelop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).\nImplement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.\nCoordinate with maintenance and quality teams to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with safety standards.\nSupport automation initiatives and evaluate new manufacturing technologies for feasibility and ROI.\nMonitor production metrics and provide data-driven recommendations for process improvements.\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, manufacturing, or electrical engineering, or a related field.\n3-7 years of experience in a switchgear, electrical, or industrial equipment manufacturing environment.\nStrong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.\nExperience with process design, workflow optimization, and production planning.\nProficiency with CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally.\nExcellent communication and documentation skills.\nExperience with automation, robotics, or smart manufacturing technologies considered an asset.\nKnowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, CSA, UL, or equivalent).\nAbility to lead projects and mentor junior engineers considered an asset.\nKey Competencies:\nAnalytical thinking and process
