This expertise assures you of our ability to handle the largest and most complex packages quickly and efficiently.\nJob Summary:\nPanelmatic is seeking a detail-oriented experienced Quality Control Inspector. In this role, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that all products meet our established requirements for reliability and workmanship, as well as other quality control program standards.\nJob Duties:\nInspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions, and examining functionality, as well as electrical testing as required.\nChecking that the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures and complies with legal requirements \nReviewing blueprints, electrical schematics, and specifications to compare to produced goods and generating an inspection report to document all deviations.\nRecording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes, and inputting data into a quality database \nAssist in training the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence \nProposing improvements to the production process\nMonitoring the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and discard any that do not meet requirements\nUpdating job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and regular training\nKeeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs\nReading and interpreting engineering drawings and electrical schematics.\nComprehension and operation of basic electrical measuring equipment.\nCollecting and compiling statistical quality data\nAssisting in the development of test methods and inspection plans\nDetermining the causes of product defects and reworks\nVerifying all equipment is calibrated correctly\nInspection of welded components \nUnderstanding the functionality of basic electrical components for use in industrial electrical cabinets/panels.\nCoordination and Support of customers during the FAT process.\nRequirements\nMinimum Qualifications:\nAssociates degree required\nOne year of experience with electrical inspection and testing required\nOne year of experience with fabrication and welding inspection required\nGood written and verbal communication skills required\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills required\nKeen attention to detail required\nBasic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications required\nAbility to use measuring devices such as gauges, meters, calipers, and computers required\nIn-depth understanding of company standards required\nUp-to-date knowledge of federal and industry standards, UL codes, and best practices required\nUnderstanding of target market and consumer needs required\nBlueprint and electrical schematic reading capabilities required\nDocumentation and reporting skills required\nTeamwork and collaboration required\n Growth mindset with the ability to accept challenges required\nAbility to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required\nAbility to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more required\nAbility to sit, stand, and walk for four-plus hours at a time required\nAlignment with company core values required\nPreferred Qualifications:\nTwo plus years of experience with electrical inspection and testing preferred\nCertified Welding Inspector (CWI)\nA BS in Engineering or equivalent work experience preferred\nExperience in an ISO environment preferred\nExperience in Lean/Six sigma
