This expertise assures you of our ability to handle the largest and most complex packages quickly and efficiently.\nJob Summary:\nThe Assembly Lead position involves leading one or more teams in the execution of the production/manufacturing processes. The primary responsibility of the Assembly Lead is to ensure the assigned work is completed in a timely manner; this includes assigning and explaining daily tasks to associates; monitoring work progress and compliance with policies and procedures; training and assisting associates. The Assembly Lead will work with the Management to improve processes in the production/manufacturing areas.\nJob Duties:\nSupervises staff to produce manufactured products and organizes and monitors workflow. \nAccomplishes manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. \nRecruits, selects, onboards, trains, and mentors’ employees. \nMaintains workflow by monitoring and upgrading processes, setting processing variables, observing control points and equipment, monitoring personnel and resources, studying methods, implementing cost reductions, developing reporting procedures and systems, facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points, and initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments. \nCompletes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries. \nMaintains quality service by establishing and enforcing production standards. \nEnsures operation of equipment by calling for repairs and evaluating new equipment and techniques. \nProvides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, and answering questions and responding to requests. \nCreates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements, and implementing change. \nResearch new processes and efficiencies to reduce unnecessary costs. \nMaintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures. \nMaintains working relationships with union members and representatives by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.\nResolves personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action. \nMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and content, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies. \nRequirements\nMinimum Qualifications:\nTwo or more years of experience as a shop Lead or equivalent manufacturing experience required \nAbility to read, write and communicate in English required \nAbility to read industrial specific drawings and specifications required \nExperience working in a safe ISO 9001 certified environment required \nTwo or more years of experience in UL and NEC codes required \nUS work authorization without sponsorship required \nAbility to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required \nAbility to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more required \nAbility to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours at a time required \nAlignment with company core values required \nPreferred Qualifications:\nTwo plus years of experience in the electrical industry preferred
