Parents increasingly focus on early education rather than simple “day-care” - this secular trend is resulting in a shift in consumer preference towards more educationally focused childcare offerings.\nThe Senior Financial Analyst will support the Early Learning Academies division and serve as a key strategic partner in financial planning, resource allocation, operational performance management, and growth initiatives. This role will work closely with leadership, operations, accounting, and finance teams to deliver actionable insights that drive informed business decisions and support the organization's continued expansion.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business recommendations. This individual will play a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, operational improvement, and evaluating strategic growth opportunities.\nThis is a hybrid position located in McLean, Virginia\nSpecific Duties and Responsibilities:\nPartner with multiple departments to curate information, deliver key insights and provide strategic perspectives; provide actionable recommendations based on data and performance objectives\nBuild financial models and sensitivity analyses to determine forecasted revenue, costs, and profitability for various scenarios and new growth initiatives\nPrepare and coordinate materials for Executive management to effectively communicate company’s strategy and performance\nLead monthly rolling forecasts, quarterly outlooks, and annual budget process. Perform analysis to understand and communicate variances while working to improve forecasting methods\nIdentify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of work through AI-driven solutions\n Required Skills and Qualifications:\nProven track record of translating complex and fragmented data sets to meaningful insights and recommendations\nIndependent and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment fueled by inorganic growth\nBA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, and/or similar discipline with analytical bias\nMinimum of 3 years’ experience including financial modeling, planning and decision support\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; highly proficient in other Microsoft applications\nExperience with Workday Adaptive Planning (Adaptive Insights, including OfficeConnect) & NetSuite (strongly preferred), or other financial planning and ERP platforms\nAbility to adhere to strict deadlines and attention to detail\nExcellent communication skills - written and verbal\nTravel <10%\nCompensation and Benefits:The compensation and benefits information below is accurate as of the date of this posting.
