The ideal candidate will have experience with the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable processing, compiling and reviewing financial information, preparing financial paperwork, and maintaining records. This role will also assist with general administrative tasks. This role requires presence at least three days a week in our San Juan office.\nResponsibilities\nReview, process, and record vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and other accounting transactions accurately and timely\nAssist with monthly close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting support\nPerform bank, cash, prepaid, and balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities and systems\nTrack outstanding payables, payment support, and cash activity\nWork with large data sets and assist with consolidating accounting data across multiple systems and reports\nMaintain and understand general ledgers for management companies and related entities\nAssist with quarterly financial reporting, reconciliations, and other accounting functions\nResearch and help resolve accounting discrepancies and reconciliation differences with guidance from the management team members\nSupport annual audits, tax return preparation, and informative returns\nAssist with ad hoc accounting and operational projects as assigned while taking ownership and support operational needs across multiple areas when needed\nExcel & Data Skills\nExperience working with:\nPivot Tables\nXLOOKUP/VLOOKUP\nSUMIF/SUMIFS\nData cleanup and consolidation\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field\nFluency in English;
