This role requires presence at least 3 days a week in our San Juan office.\nResponsibilities:\nDaily Books\nRun the morning position reconciliation: pull the breaks, sort each into timing, known standing item, or needs a look, and write up the ones that need a decision.\nDraft trade bookings for review: exchange and OTC fills, staking income, vesting unlocks and fees. Venture deals, token conversions and write-offs come later, once the routine bookings are second nature.\nCash and Wires\nTag and reconcile bank activity with Finance (about 1,000 rows a month).\nMatch deal wires to their approvals, flag any wire that has not been booked, and draft wire approval requests for sign-off.\nMonth-End and Audit\nSupport the close: maintain the pricing checklist, chase and document mark sources, and prepare the tie-out to the fund administrator for review.\nPrepare and track annual audit confirmations with the auditors and counterparties.\nAutomation and AI\nUse our AI coding agents every day. Review what they propose, and flag anything that looks wrong before it reaches the books.\nWrite and maintain runbooks so every task can be repeated without help. With guidance, turn repeat steps into small Python and SQL scripts.\nCounterparties and Inbox\nHandle routine requests with custodians, prime brokers, trading venues and staking providers (statements, balance confirmations, address whitelisting), and escalate anything non-routine.\nTriage the shared operations inbox: route what needs action and file the rest.\nQualifications: \n0-2 years in fund operations, fund administration, audit, trading operations or a similar analyst role. Strong new graduates are welcome.\nComfortable in Excel and able to write basic SQL queries. Some Python, or clear evidence that you pick up tools quickly.\nCareful with numbers. You check your own work before you hand it in.\nClear, precise writing. You can explain a break in three sentences.\nA controls mindset.
