This position works closely with operators, supervisors, and other team members to support safe, efficient, and high-quality production.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nOperate in accordance with all safety and quality policies and procedures.\nTest in-process materials and finished goods in accordance with established operating procedures.\nInspect materials on the production floor and properly identify finished goods.\nPerform in-process audits and evaluate production performance against quality standards.\nTrack and report product rejections, audit results, and other quality data to Quality Management.\nPerform and maintain digital and physical calibration records for multiple facilities.\nPerform engineering sample testing and failure analysis testing.\nComplete scheduled weld certifications and maintain required records.\nOrder, stock, and prepare solutions and chemicals for laboratory use.\nServe as a calibration representative during internal, ISO, and customer audits.\nCommunicate effectively with supervisors, operators, other shifts, and team members across the organization.\nConduct on-the-job training for new employees assigned to the department.\nSupport lean manufacturing initiatives and provide continuous improvement ideas related to safety, quality, on-time delivery, cost reduction, and efficiency.\nSupport and comply with all applicable company policies and procedures.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS\nAbility to effectively manage time-sensitive tasks.\nSelf-motivated and self-directed.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nExcellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.\nStrong work record, including safety, quality, and attendance.\nPositive and supportive attitude.\nAbility to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nStandard manufacturing/operator working conditions.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nStandard operator physical requirements.\nABOUT INTERNATIONAL WIRE GROUP\nInternational Wire Group is a leading manufacturer of copper and copper-alloy wire products serving customers across a variety of industries.
