This role is responsible for building a high-performing team, establishing scalable solution design practices, and ensuring customers receive technically sound, implementation-ready solutions that drive long-term success.\nWorking across Sales, Professional Services, Product, and Engineering, this leader combines hands-on customer engagement with team leadership to improve implementation quality, reduce delivery risk, and continuously evolve how Paperless Parts solves customer challenges.\nResponsibilities\nLead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Solution Architects while serving as the lead Solution Architect on the company's most strategic customer engagements.\nLead technical discovery, business process workshops, and solution design sessions to translate customer requirements into scalable, implementation-ready solutions.\nPartner with Sales to lead technical discovery, scope customer solutions, define Statements of Work, estimate implementation effort, and identify technical risks that drive successful customer outcomes.\nServe as the senior technical resource for escalated customer situations by leading onsite engagements, facilitating business process discussions, identifying root causes, and designing solutions that address complex customer challenges.\nEstablish best practices for technical discovery, solution design, implementation handoffs, and customer documentation to improve consistency, quality, and scalability.\nPartner with Professional Services, Product, and Engineering to ensure successful solution delivery while influencing product direction based on customer feedback and implementation trends.\nDrive operational excellence through team development, capacity planning, solution quality metrics, and continuous improvement of the Solutions Architecture function.\nDevelop deep expertise in the Paperless Parts platform and serve as an authority on product capabilities, implementation best practices, and solution architecture.\nQualifications\n7+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, or Professional Services within a SaaS environment.\n2+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or developing customer-facing technical teams.\nProven success leading technical discovery, business process discussions, and solution design for enterprise customers.\nExperience designing SaaS implementations involving APIs, ERP integrations, and other enterprise business systems.\nUnderstanding of manufacturing operations, ERP systems, and business process optimization is a plus.\nAbility to quickly develop deep product expertise and become a trusted advisor on platform capabilities and implementation best practices.\nExceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with executives, customers, and cross-functional teams.\nWillingness to travel up to 25% to support customer engagements, onsite workshops, and industry events.\nSalary range: $131,000 - $177,000\nThis role is also eligible for variable compensation.\nThe job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
