This role is critical to the operational success of our email program, owning the setup and delivery of campaign sends. The ideal candidate is eager to dive in and learn, wants to push the envelope on technical email production, and is excited about creating personalized digital experiences at scale.\nThis role sits on the Growth Marketing team and reports to the Director, Lifecycle Marketing, working out of our NYC office 2x a week.\nWhat you’ll do here\nExecute day-to-day email campaign operations: prep image assets, code templates, build and segment lists, schedule sends, and set up tests\nBuild responsive, personalized triggered email templates and support triggered flow setup in Sailthru\nOwn QA of every send across devices, email clients, and environments\nTroubleshoot rendering and technical issues, including HTML templates, broken links, and list segmentation\nExplore and apply AI tools to work more efficiently across email operations\nLeverage ESP tools and Sailthru's scripting language (Zephyr) to deliver dynamic content\nManage audience lists and maintain list hygiene through data cleansing to improve targeting accuracy\nAnalyze campaign performance and contribute test and optimization ideas to inform future campaigns\nPartner with the team on campaign planning, bringing a technical and data-informed perspective\nRequirements\n2-4 years of proven experience in email marketing, including hands-on work in an ESP (Sailthru preferred)\nHTML/CSS email coding experience, including working with ESP scripting or templating languages (Zephyr preferred)\nExperience QA’ing emails across devices and email clients\nExperience with email testing tools (Litmus preferred) \nStrong understanding of email marketing best practices \nKnowledge of relevant email marketing regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR)\nExperience with marketing automation and personalization software and tools\nProficiency in at least one customer data platform and data visualization tool (Looker preferred)\nAnalytical mindset; comfortable using performance data to inform recommendations\nStrong technical proficiency; comfortable learning new systems\nStrong attention to detail and communication skills\nGenuine interest in email marketing and its technical side (coding, automation, etc.)\nAbout the company\nCompany-wide, we enjoy an amazing ecosystem of an even gender split and a balance of engineers and designers. All full-time offer packages come with a base salary, equity component, and options for fully paid medical, dental, and vision benefits.
