Elevating the Essentials isn’t just our tagline, it’s the higher standard we live by every day.\nJob Description Summary\nThe Project Engineer is responsible for managing and executing capital expenditure projects within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory standards (GMP, FDA, etc.).Job Description\nESSENTAIL FUNCTIONS:\nLead end-to-end execution of CAPEX projects including planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.\nDevelop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource plans.\nCoordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, validation, manufacturing, and external vendors.\nEnsure compliance with cGMP, FDA, EMA, and other regulatory requirements.\nOversee equipment selection, installation, and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ).\nManage contractors, suppliers, and construction activities on-site.\nPerform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.\nTrack project performance and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.\nDrive continuous improvement and cost optimization in project execution.\nEnsure proper documentation and support validation efforts.\nDEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nPerform additional duties and special projects as assigned by department leadership. \nSupport continuous improvement initiatives within the department. \nAssist with cross-functional projects and interdepartmental coordination. \nParticipate in training sessions, workshops, and professional development activities. \nMaintain departmental documentation, reports, and records as required. \nProvide backup support for other team members during absences or peak workloads. \nContribute to process optimization and efficiency improvements. \nAttend meetings and provide input on departmental goals and performance. \nSupport implementation of new tools, systems, or procedures within the department. \nEnsure compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements when performing assigned tasks. .\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:\nEducation:\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or related discipline)\nExperience:\n1-3+ years experience in manufacturing environments. (Pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing preferred)\nPreferred Skills/Qualifications:\nProven experience managing CAPEX projects.\nStrong knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements.\nProject Management certification (PMP or equivalent )\nOther Skills:\nStrong project management and organizational skills.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.\nTechnical expertise in process equipment and facility systems.\nProblem-solving mindset with attention to detail.\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nCompetencies:\nCAD/CAM Proficiency \nProblem Solving & Root Cause Analys\nContinuous Improvement (Lean/Six Sigma)\nAutomation & Industry 4.0 Awareness\n WORKING CONDITIONS:\nPosition will work both an office environment and in a manufacturing plant environment.\nMust be able to wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) out on the plant site as deemed necessary by EH&S.\nOccasional travel required.\nThe expected base pay range for this position is $83,895 -$113,505.
