We welcome and encourage collaborative innovation from our employees, and you'll become part of a team that embodies heart, integrity, creativity, and respect.\nPrimary Job Responsibilities:\nConsistently provide prompt and courteous customer service; may be required to assist customers at the gas pump.\nAccurately ring up all sales on POS system, comply with all cash handling procedures including other payment types for products sold.\nResponsible for all cash and other forms of tender, (e.g. coupons, credit card transactions).\nComply with company policies and store procedures, including all safety and environmental policies and procedures.\nResponsible for receiving, stocking & organizing merchandise.\nAssist in maintaining proper inventory levels and shift audits.\nAdopt, comply with, and participate in all safety programs and trainings, attend mandatory job-related meeting/trainings as needed.\nPerform cleaning duties necessary to maintain site cleanliness inside and out, and basic upkeep and/or cleaning of all equipment on the site.\nAssist with identifying equipment problems and report as needed.\nPerform all duties with minimal supervision, and may be required to work flexible hours, attend job-related meetings and other duties as assigned.\nNote: This description is intended to give you a general overview of the position. Additional responsibilities and opportunities may be identified based on current business needs.\nPhysical Demands:\nAbility to stand and/or walk for an entire shift.\nAbility to see with 20/40 vision (corrective lenses acceptable) in order to see numbers on store inventory levels, items purchased, gas pumps in operation, and problems that may occur with gas pumps.\nAbility to communicate effectively in English.\nAbility to follow safety procedures (e.g. respond to safety alarms, contact 911 for emergencies).\nFrequent reaching overhead, gripping, wrist movements, and finger dexterity required to restock inventory, package items sold, operate POS system, receive payments, issue change, operate gas pumps, wipe pumps, maintain store grounds, and general housekeeping.\nFrequent squatting and kneeling required for obtaining and/or replenishing items.\nAbility to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds (while utilizing a hand-truck).\nFrequent lifting of 20 pounds or less from floor to waist, overhead, and carry a short distance.\nOccasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to climb a stepladder to stock or retrieve materials and/or place or remove signs.\nNote: There may be exposure to gas fumes and solvents, and occasional noise.\nQualifications:\nTo meet the basic qualifications for this role you will be at least 21 years of age or older and have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.\nAdditional qualifications include:\nHigh School Diploma or GED preferred.\nExperience in retail sales and handling cash preferred.\nPerform basic math accurately.\nAbility to communicate in English (orally and in writing), including proficient telephone communication skills.\nAbility to work various shifts as scheduled, and arrive on time.\nAbility to work with equipment, tools and materials as required.\nAbility to perform essential duties and work in the conditions as described.\nBenefits\nFull-timeemployees (and their families) are offered medical (with prescription), dental, vision, voluntary critical illness, accident, life/AD&D insurance, Health Savings\nAccount, Flexible Spending Account, and an Employee Assistance Program.
