This position supports the daily execution of the company’s Mission Statement by providing First Class Service to both internal and external guests. Responsibilities include preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, taking food and beverage orders, maintaining strong menu and product knowledge, processing payments, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and ensuring responsible alcohol service. Bartenders are expected to create a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining professionalism, urgency, accuracy, and operational standards throughout every shift.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nProvide First Class Service standards and professional behavior with every guest, business partner, and team member.\nTreat guests and peers in accordance with company core values and operational expectations.\nGreet guests promptly and create a welcoming and engaging bar experience.\nPrepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately, consistently, and according to established recipes and standards.\nTake accurate food and beverage orders and enter orders into the POS system efficiently.\nMaintain strong knowledge of liquor, beer, wine, cocktails, menu items, promotions, specials, and restaurant offerings.\nProvide recommendations and answer guest questions regarding beverages, menu items, and available selections.\nMonitor guests throughout their experience and anticipate additional needs while maintaining attentive and professional service.\nVerify guest identification and follow all responsible alcohol service requirements.\nMonitor alcohol consumption and follow established procedures regarding responsible service and refusal of service when appropriate.\nProcess guest payments accurately while following all Cash Handling and Loss Prevention procedures.\nMaintain proper cash drawer accountability and immediately report discrepancies according to company procedures.\nMaintain cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking of the bar, beverage stations, glassware, equipment, and surrounding areas.\nComplete assigned opening, closing, and side work duties, including stocking liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other bar supplies.\nFollow established recipes, portion controls, and beverage preparation standards to support consistency and cost control.\nMaintain proper handling, storage, and rotation of beverage products and supplies.\nSupport team operations by assisting with food running, guest service, cleaning, stocking, and other restaurant responsibilities as needed.\nRespond professionally to guest questions or concerns and escalate issues to leadership when necessary.\nFollow all food safety, sanitation, health, and responsible alcohol service standards.\nMaintain current alcohol certification and comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations regarding alcoholic beverage service.\nCommunicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, leadership, and fellow team members to maintain efficient restaurant operations.\nPerform additional duties assigned by leadership to support restaurant operations and guest satisfaction.\nPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh School Diploma or GED preferred.\nPrevious bartending, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred.\nKnowledge of common cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and standard beverage preparation preferred.\nExperience handling cash and operating a point-of-sale (POS) system preferred.\nAbility to obtain and maintain required alcohol service certification.\nAbility to work various shifts in a fast-paced, team-oriented, 7-day operational environment.\nStrong guest service and communication skills required.\nAbility to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently under pressure.\nAbility to accurately prepare multiple beverage orders while maintaining service standards.\nSelf-starter with the ability to prioritize responsibilities and adapt to changing business demands.\nProfessional appearance and positive attitude required.\nAbility to communicate clearly and effectively with Guests, Managers, and Team Members.\nBasic reading, writing, and mathematical proficiency required.\nAbility to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, lift up to 25 pounds, and walk long distances throughout the shift.\nWhat You Get\nFast-paced, high-volume dining environment\nClear expectations and structured standards\nOpportunities for growth into higher leadership roles\nCompetitive benefits | 401K\nThis position description is merely intended to describe the primary elements of the position.
