By incorporating local artisan goods and popular food concepts, we create a unique sense of place and bring both national favorites and local gems to airport travelers.\nWHAT YOU DO\nYou are responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow, and supporting the team in achieving productivity, accuracy, and safety goals. This role acts as a liaison between warehouse associates and management, providing guidance, training, and hands-on support in all aspects of warehouse functions including receiving, picking, packing, inventory, and shipping.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nLead and coordinate daily warehouse activities to meet operational goals.\nAssign tasks to team members and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.\nTrain new and existing warehouse team members on standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and equipment use.\nEnsure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and proper documentation.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards.\nOperate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) as needed.\nCommunicate effectively with supervisors, other departments, and team members to resolve issues and improve processes.\nMonitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, productivity, and shrinkage.\nRelease and assign pick waves to team members.\nAudit picked orders for accuracy and completeness.\nAssist with slotting and labeling of pick zones.\nResolve product location or scanning issues during picking.\nCoordinate closely with replenishment and shipping leads.\nCheck and sign off on packing slips, bills of lading, and system entries.\nOversee damage reporting and returns to vendors.\nVerify receiving counts and escalate overages or shortages.\nTrain team on proper unloading and inspection techniques.\nCoordinate transportation for dock scheduling.\nLead a team of pickers to meet daily store order targets.\nMonitor accuracy, productivity, and correct staging of outbound goods.\nEnsure team uses RF scanners and follows pick paths efficiently.\nProvide daily coaching and feedback to associates.\nPlan and assign tasks for receiving associates.\nEnsure all inbound deliveries are verified, inspected, and logged correctly.\nMaintain safe, clean, and efficient dock operations.\nMonitor daily receiving metrics and escalate discrepancies.\nLiaise with inventory and replenishment teams to streamline put-away.\nReport order status and performance metrics to DC Supervisor.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nStrong leadership and people management experience in warehouse settings.\nDeep understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain metrics.\nUnderstanding of SKU locations, inventory flow, and product handling.\nCapability to troubleshoot issues in real time (e.g., out-of-stock or mispicks).\nAbility to delegate and coordinate across leads in various departments.\nProficient in interpreting operational data and making real-time decisions.\nSkilled in enforcing safety and compliance policies.\nAbility to work various shifts in a 7/365 team orientated environment\nAble to communicate effectively using the English language\nSelf-starter able to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously\nAbility to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations\nProficiency required in reading, writing, and mathematics\nAbility to pass the Federal Criminal History Records Check, Paradies Background Check, and the applicable Department of Transportation requirements\nComputer work, heavy lifting (40 lbs.), long standing periods, climbing, lifting, bending, nights or weekend work, based in a store or group of stores; early morning, evening and weekend work and holidays\nComply in all respects with the provisions of the Standards of Business Conduct Policy\nCommitment to safety, quality, and speed in fulfillment.\nHigh school diploma or GED required; additional training or certification in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.\n2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a leadership or team lead role.\nStrong understanding of warehouse procedures, inventory systems, and safety regulations.\nProficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications.\nExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.\nAbility to work flexible shifts, including weekends or overtime as needed.\nForklift certification preferred.\nThis position description is merely intended to describe the primary elements of the position.
