The assignment may be extended or conclude earlier than anticipated based on business needs.\nApproved Hiring Locations: Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington DC, and Wisconsin.\nResponsibilities\nCloud Infrastructure & Automation\nDesign, deploy, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure, primarily within Microsoft Azure.\nDevelop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC), configuration management, and automation solutions.\nBuild reusable tools and frameworks to streamline operations, reduce manual processes, and improve engineering productivity.\nImprove the reliability, scalability, performance, security, and cost efficiency of production environments.\nCI/CD & Software Delivery\nDesign, implement, and maintain secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.\nCollaborate with development and QA teams to improve release efficiency, deployment reliability, and application performance.\nEstablish and maintain deployment standards, operational readiness requirements, and release management practices.\nParticipate in Agile Scrum development activities, including technical planning, implementation, testing, and deployment.\nMonitoring, Observability & Production Support\nImplement and enhance monitoring and observability solutions, including centralized logging, metrics, alerting, dashboards, and distributed tracing.\nEstablish and maintain service-level indicators (SLIs) and service-level objectives (SLOs).\nTroubleshoot complex production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement lasting corrective solutions.\nIdentify and proactively address infrastructure, application performance, and operational risks.\nSupport incident response and continuous improvement of production systems.\nMigration & Modernization\nLead or contribute to cloud, application, database, and infrastructure migration initiatives.\nDevelop migration plans, automation scripts, validation procedures, rollback strategies, and post-migration monitoring.\nCollaborate with engineering teams to modernize infrastructure and improve system architecture.\nRequirements\nMandatory:\n5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), platform engineering, cloud engineering, or a closely related discipline.\n3+ years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.\n3+ years of hands-on experience deploying, operating, and troubleshooting applications in cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.\nExperience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Azure Bicep, ARM templates, or Ansible.\nExperience implementing monitoring and observability solutions, including logging, metrics, alerting, dashboards, and distributed tracing.\nProficiency in scripting and automation using one or more languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Node.js.\nExperience supporting cloud, application, infrastructure, or database migrations.\nWorking knowledge of SQL databases and database deployment or migration processes.\nExperience supporting high-volume, highly available, multi-tier enterprise applications.\nUnderstanding of cloud security principles, identity and access management, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation.\nExperience using AI-assisted engineering tools for troubleshooting, automation, development, or documentation.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAdvanced experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure, cloud services, and deployment automation.\nExperience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).\nExperience designing enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and release management processes.\nAdvanced knowledge of observability platforms, distributed tracing, alert optimization, and service reliability practices.\nExperience leading complex cloud migrations, infrastructure modernization, or platform transformation initiatives.\nExperience developing reusable infrastructure modules, automation frameworks, or engineering standards.\nFamiliarity with NoSQL databases, messaging platforms, or event-driven architectures.\nExperience using AI agents or AI-enabled automation to streamline engineering workflows.\nAdvanced technical education, professional certifications, or equivalent specialized training.\nBenefits\nParadigm offers medical, dental, vision, life, 401K, PTO, and sick days.\nAbout Us, Paradigm\nParadigm Information Services is an established staffing company that has been connecting talented people with great opportunities for more than 25 years.
