This could be your career-defining move.\nThe Lead Accountant is responsible for the daily financial management and financial reporting of Paradigm Enterprises Inc. This role will work closely with the project controls, accounting shared services and other operational functions to ensure financial information is provided accurately and timely to various stakeholders across the organization. Paradigm is looking for a strong candidate to help build out the accounting function with potential for growth into a Manager role. The Lead Accountant reports to the VP of Finance, Renewables.\nEssential Functions\nSupport all aspects of the Project Accounting function:\nRevenue Recognition Analysis\nProject Set Up\nProject Code Management\nWeekly Progress Reporting\nWeekly Project Cost Forecasting\nProgress Billings and Collections\nProject Cash Flows\nAnalyze and report on financial results, including preparation of the monthly reporting package, monthly segment review presentation and monthly management discussion and analysis. \nPrepare monthly cash flow forecasts. \nPrepare adhoc financial analysis, as requested.\nAssist Management and the Strategic Operations team in developing the 5-year financial plan and quarterly forecast updates.\nWork with team to establish accounting best practices and process improvements.\nWork closely with the Shared Services team to ensure that all transactions are recorded and all financial information is presented in accordance with US GAAP. \nPartner with the Project Controls and Project Management teams to analyze and report on project performance.\nProvide feedback to the Estimating team on financial assumptions used to develop estimates for project bids. \nComplete project financial checklists and project cash forecast for use in Management bid review meetings. \nPrepare analysis for vendor financial evaluations.\nMonitor compliance with the Inflation Reduction Act across multiple projects.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA preferred but not required. \nMinimum eight (8) years of experience in accounting, financial reporting or public accounting.
