The Associate Buyer will focus on proposal planning, project execution, and continuous improvement while developing and maintaining strong supplier relationships.\nEssential Roles and Responsibilities:\nProject Execution\nSolicit bids, evaluate quotations, select suppliers, and execute contracts in line with project needs.\nCoordinate the scheduling and expediting of deliverables, services, and materials to meet project timelines.\nEnsure all contracts are closed out properly, with all terms fulfilled and documented.\nCollaboration\nWork closely with Estimating, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure proposal compliance and accuracy.\nCollaborate with Operations, Scheduling, Field Engineering, Site Administration, Finance, and Legal teams as needed.\nMaintain and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth PO execution and address any issues that arise.\nCustomer Focus\nOversee warranty efforts, ensuring resolution of issues post-project completion.\nPerform other related duties as required to support the procurement function and project goals.\nContinuous Improvement\nEngage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance procurement processes and supplier relationships.\nConduct post-project and annual supplier evaluations to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.\nCritical Thinking\nManage changes in project scope, schedule, and deliverables, ensuring timely adjustments.\nNegotiate commercial terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors, securing favorable terms for the company.\nQuality Control\nEnsure all procurement activities comply with company policies and project specifications.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s Degree preferred with 2-5 years of related work experience; or strong construction industry related work experience.\nStrong negotiating and analytical skills.\nAbility to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills.\nStrong interpersonal and leadership skills.\nAbility to effectively interface with all levels of management\nOur benefits cover you and your family on day one!
