This role will be responsible for preparing, negotiating and recording business contracts on behalf of Paragon. Their duties include researching a contract’s terms, alerting parties to renewals or extensions and tracking all communications.\nResponsibilities: \nCollaborates with multiple levels of personnel within an organization to analyze and solidify an overall contract strategy\nServes as a liaison between internal and external parties during contract development and negotiation stages\nAnalyzes potential risks that contract changes may pose to the organization\nCreates language standards and rules for existing and new contracts\nEnsure the organization's internal contract documents are accurate and well maintained\nMeet with customers to discuss both legal and business matters\nProvide advice and guidance to the different teams relating to contract generation\nReview, and edit all contracts\nProvide support and advice on new potential businesses opportunities and how to structure the contracts\nIdentify opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement these changes\nPost contract award, ensure the project is being managed in compliance with the terms of the contract. If scope creep occurs, responsible for writing communications and notices to support change order requests\nRequirements: \nBachelor's degree in a technical, business, or legal field with additional professional education and/or equivalent experience relevant to contracts negotiation and administration is required\nA graduate degree in business or MBA would be beneficial\nMust have at least 5 years of relevant experience in contract management\nWorking knowledge of contract terms and conditions, including experience with preparation of formal responses to customers, negotiation of terms and conditions, and administration of contracts of various types for both private and governmental customers\nExperience in the development and implementation of complex projects involving multiple deadlines, programs, services, and staff.\nMust have a strategic and analytical mindset.\nMust be an excellent communicator with top-notch presentation skills.\nMust have prior experience establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships\nWhy Paragon?\nAt Paragon, our mission is to lower the carbon footprint through innovative nuclear programs that are safe, sustainable, and economical.
