SEWS currently operates within three geographic CCMD's areas of responsibility (U.S. European Command (USEUCOM), U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM), and U.S. India Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) in support of the Department of State (DOS), U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) and US Air Force Space Command (AFSPC) missions.\nClearance: Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Eligibility\nTravel Required: Yes (up to 50%)\nRequirements\nEssential Functions\nConfiguration and implementation of the SEWS GCCS-J software and systems, GCCS-J courseware development, providing SEWS specific GCCS-J Operator training to US and FMS personnel, as well as system support to the local Colorado Springs, NATO, and various supported FMS locations.\nCollaborating with SEWS contractor and government personnel to plan OCONUS trips and stay apprised of Theater issues.\nAssisting with the design and analysis of user needs and associated hardware and software recommendations.\nPerforming system support for remote users to identify and resolve hardware, software, and communication issues, document solutions, and develop recommendations to reduce the frequency of repairs.\nResponding to system outages to ensure issues are resolved per contract requirements\nProviding maintenance support for system / equipment issues.\nSupporting Emergency On-Site Sustainment (EOSS) travel to customer locations as required.\nPlanning, developing and conducting GCCS-J Familiarization Training for CCMD and FMS customers.\nProviding refresher training for existing staff as well as training for new operators.\nUtilizing engineering skills to research, develop, test, and document solutions for Research & Test (R&T) activities. \nRequired Experience\nBS degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nWorking experience with GCCS-J version 6.0 and/or at least five (5) years of Windows and Linux systems administration experience.\nStrong knowledge of Server Operating Systems.\nKnowledge of virtualization concepts and products (VMware).\nKnowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (AD) for user and groups.\nKnowledge of current Microsoft Operating Systems (Server & Workstation).\nFamiliarity with Oracle/Sybase/Postgress database maintenance.\nFamiliarity with Java application servers (Tomcat, JBoss).\nFamiliarity with Linux/UNIX applications and services (NFS, SSH, NTP, LDAP, HTTP, Ansible).\nAdditional Eligibility Qualifications\nMust currently have and be able to maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Eligibility\nDoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP).\nThe flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements\nBenefits\n Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision).\n Retirement Plan (401K w/ employer matching).\n Paid Time Off & 10 Paid Public Holidays.\n Short and Long-Term Disability.\n Healthy Work-Life Balance.\n Training & Development.\n Why Work For Paragon Cyber Solutions?\nYou want to make a difference.
