In this role, you will help design, develop, modify, evaluate, and implement hardware and network solutions while contributing technical leadership across multidisciplinary efforts.\nResponsibilities\nProvide leadership and guidance to IT personnel, including mentoring, development, and training.\nServe as a subject matter expert and support the IT network environment across servers, clients, routers, virtual private networks, switches, and firewall devices.\nTroubleshoot complex application, system, and network issues, including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency concerns.\nPlan and execute the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of network equipment.\nDefine IT policies and procedures and provide management with status reporting on network health, availability, and trends.\nMaintain network performance through monitoring, analysis, and tuning.\nAnalyze IT systems and prepare supporting documentation related to performance, stability, interoperability, and lifecycle considerations.\nAssist in the development, implementation, and documentation of impact assessments, architecture change recommendations, and CONOPS change recommendations.\nSecure the IT network through access controls, monitoring, evaluation, and documentation aligned with applicable standards.\nParticipate in the design and development of integrated solutions that meet customer requirements.\nRequirements\nRequired Experience\nMinimum 4+ years of experience in a related network engineering or IT infrastructure field.\nHands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches.\nKnowledge of Internet Protocols, communication protocols, and data and network security.\nStrong understanding of federal government security requirements, including FISMA and NIST guidelines.\nExperience supporting government customers.\nAdditional Eligibility Qualifications\nMust possess current active TS/SCI clearance.\nMust possess current DoD 8570 IAT II certification; relevant network certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or JNCIE are a plus.\nMust be eligible to work in the United States.\nThe flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements.\nBenefits\nHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision).\nRetirement Plan (401K w/ employer matching).\nPaid Time Off & 11 Paid Public Holidays.\nShort and Long-Term Disability.\nHealthy Work-Life Balance.\nTraining & Development.\nWhy Work For Paragon Cyber Solutions?\nYou want to make a difference.
