You'll work alongside leadership to build a strong culture, develop cultivation talent, and help bring our vision to life from day one. This role will be supporting our Surterra Wellness operations in Florida. \nWhat You'll Do\nLead Daily Cultivation Operations\nSupervise and support daily activities of cultivation production associates.\nCoordinate staffing and workflow to ensure daily production goals are achieved.\nAssign work priorities and monitor progress throughout the cultivation cycle.\nFoster a positive, accountable, and high-performance team culture.\nDrive Cultivation Excellence\nOversee cultivation, harvest, Integrated Pest Management (IPM), and Environmental Services (ES) activities.\nManage production schedules and ensure cultivation plans are executed efficiently.\nMonitor plant health, cultivation processes, and environmental conditions to maximize quality and yield.\nFollow and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and operational effectiveness.\nImprove Performance & Processes\nIdentify operational challenges and recommend solutions to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.\nAnalyze team performance and provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and help optimize cultivation practices.\nEnsure Compliance & Safety\nEnforce adherence to company policies, state regulations, and cultivation compliance requirements.\nPromote a culture of workplace safety and accountability.\nEnsure all cultivation activities meet quality assurance standards and regulatory expectations.\nMaintain accurate documentation and operational records.\nTrain & Develop Team Members\nTrain and mentor new cultivation associates on cultivation techniques, SOPs, safety protocols, and compliance standards.\nProvide ongoing coaching to develop team skills and strengthen operational knowledge.\nSupport succession planning and workforce development within the cultivation department.\nWhat You'll Bring\nRequired Qualifications\nMust be 21 years of age or older\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nValid government-issued photo identification\n2-3 years of supervisory experience leading and developing teams\nStrong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills\nExcellent communication and leadership abilities\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based software applications\nAbility to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving production environment\nPreferred Qualifications\n3+ years of experience in cannabis cultivation, horticulture, greenhouse operations, agriculture, or related industries\nKnowledge of cannabis genetics, plant development, and cultivation best practices\nExperience with crop steering, environmental controls, pest management, and harvest planning\nFamiliarity with introducing new plant varieties and scaling cultivation operations\nExperience working in a regulated production or manufacturing environment\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds regularly\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday\nComfortable working in cultivation environments that may be hot, humid, wet, dry, and physically demanding\nExposure to temperatures exceeding 100°F during portions of the shift\nAbility to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when required\nAbility to climb and descend ladders safely\nWhy Join Parallel?\nBe part of the launch of a new cultivation facility in Gainesville\nCompetitive salary and benefits\nOpportunity for career growth within one of the nation's leading cannabis companies\nBenefits and Perks: Employee discount, 401k enrollment, Paid Time Off, Tuition Reimbursement, Pet Insurance, and more! \nCollaborative and supportive team environment\nGain hands-on experience in large-scale commercial cannabis cultivation\nHelp shape the future of a rapidly growing industry\nReady to grow with us?
