In autonomy and physical AI, there is no margin for error.\nThe Role\nWe are hiring a Product Engineer to work directly with our Chief Product Officer in building product prototypes and building/managing product integrations for our suite of simulation and neural reconstruction products. This role will be an exciting blend of hands-on engineering, product management, customer interactions, and strategic product roadmapping.\nThis is a highly technical role and requires software engineering experience. Our users are AI developers and our product heavily leverages cutting edge simulation technologies. This role requires expertise in AI development, simulation technologies, product management, and programming. By spending significant time with our customers, including automotive, drone, and robotics companies, you will become an expert in how our customers need to use simulation to accelerate their development of autonomous systems and then put this expertise at work to help Parallel Domain build winning products.\nWhat You'll Do\nWork with the Product Team to build new product prototypes for Parallel Domain’s core products, from customer discovery and feature ideation through prototyping and engineering handoff.\nBuild and manage product integrations with other softwares in the simulation ecosystem, such as the Nvidia suite of simulation tools. Choosing the right products for integration will be critical, along with implementing robust and maintainable integrations.\nDevelop a deep understanding of customer workflows across autonomy, robotics, computer vision, and simulation teams, with a special focus on how our customers use simulation products to accomplish their goals. Spend time on site with customers.\nContribute to roadmap / quarterly planning across Product and Engineering teams\nDefine and track success metrics for your product area, such as customer adoption, workflow efficiency, data generation throughput, scenario coverage, model performance lift, platform reliability, and revenue impact.\nTranslate complex technical and customer needs into clear product direction, distinguishing between one-off feature requests, underlying workflow problems, and durable platform opportunities.\nCommunicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments, and decisions clearly across a wide spectrum of audiences from internal customers to executives.\nCreate clarity in ambiguous technical domains, breaking down open-ended problems into actionable plans, crisp priorities, and decisions that align customer value, technical feasibility, and company strategy.\nRepresent the voice of the customer internally, bringing evidence-backed product insights to engineering and leadership so the company builds the highest-impact capabilities for the market.\nCollaborate on launch planning and enablement, including documentation, demos, sales materials, release notes, and internal training that help customers and customer-facing teams get value from new products.\n Stay close to the evolving autonomy, robotics, synthetic data, and AI infrastructure markets, using industry trends and competitive insights to inform roadmap decisions and identify new product opportunities.\nWhat We Are Looking For\n3+ years of software engineering or field engineering experience delivering highly impactful and innovative platform or infrastructure products at scale, ideally with API offerings.\nExperience working in a B2B enterprise environment.\nHave a working understanding of machine learning frameworks, embodied AI development, and simulation.\nFluent in Python and C++, proficient with AI-enabled development workflows.\nEntrepreneurial sense of ownership: leads product development from zero to first release and beyond with full accountability of the outcomes\nProven track record to partner effectively across functions, with the ability to gain shared vision on decisions, resources, and priority trade-offs.\nAn ability to thrive in open-ended, ambiguous environments, bringing structure to complex problems and turning them into clear plans.\nMust be willing to travel to sit with customers.\nStrong Signals\nA degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.\nExperience as an engineer at a simulation, developer tools, autonomous systems company, or physical AI company.\nFamiliarity with closed-loop simulation, scenario-based testing, or sensor-in-the-loop workflows.\nStrong desire to “walk in the customers shoes” - spending time on site, collaborating directly with users.","description_format":"text","description_chars":5019,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":3,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United States","iso":"US","kind":"country"},{"name":"Canada","iso":"CA","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Autonomous Driving","Simulation & Digital Twin Software","Synthetic Data"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-28T20:14:39Z"}],"liveness":{"score":86,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.86,"p_room":1,"age_days":6,"expected_fill_days":50,"reasons":["conf:2","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-10-01T05:45:00Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":200000,"is_top_pay":true},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/parallel-domain-product-engineer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/parallel-domain-product-engineer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-02T01:13:51Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":1379,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":3621,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-03T00:00:00Z"}}}
