In this role, you will be working on day to day maintenance of equipment as well as emergency repairs when equipment goes down. You will have the opportunity to utilize many of your mechanical skills, from small electrical repairs, ability to repair and restart parts of the production line quickly and replace parts.\nShift: 1st shift\nPay Rate: $20 to $45 an hour based on experience\nResponsibilities\nWhere ISO procedures are inaccurate, work with supervision and engineering to facilitate document changes \nPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on all manufacturing equipment and mechanical systems \nObserve machinery in operation to identify causes of malfunction \nDismantle equipment to access and remove defective components \nAdjust mechanical devices and control instruments \nInstall structural and functional parts on machinery \nOperate and test equipment to verify performance \nTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime \nPerform root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions \nAssist other maintenance mechanics, engineers and operators on projects and major repairs as needed \nRequirements\nMechanical and electrical aptitude \nAbility to read and comprehend blueprints simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. \nAbility to write simple correspondence. \nAbility to effectively present information to one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. \nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. \nAbility to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret bar graphs. \nAbility to manufacture, modify, and repair precision components and tooling to tight tolerances \nExperience interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications \nFamiliar with drilling, tapping, boring, grinding, and other machining operations \nStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work \nExperience operating manual and/or CNC lathes, mills, drill presses, and other precision machining equipment \nAbility to fabricate, repair, and modify machine parts, tooling, fixtures, and components as needed to support production and maintenance activities
