This position will directly support the Quality Manager.\nSpecific duties:\nVisual and dimensional verification of product to specification\nUtilize various pieces of test equipment as necessary to validate product conformity\nMaintain accuracy in measurements through continuous equipment calibration verification\nRecord product quality audit results and create reports with daily findings\nEscalation to production supervisor and quality management in cases of non-conforming product\nPlace all non-conforming product on quality hold for inspection, with review of suspect product as required\nHelp to analyze and correct production problems\n1st shift; 7AM-3PM\nPay: $18/hr.\nJob location: Sturtevant, WI.\nJob type: Longterm temp\nRequirements\nKnowledge of quality testing methodologies and standards.\nThe ability to use gauges such as calipers, weight scales, digital meters, micrometers, etc…\nExperience utilizing the Microsoft suite of products, with an emphasis on navigating Windows environments and utilizing programs such as Word, Outlook, and Excel\nKnowledge of SAP a plus\nPrevious experience as a quality inspector is a plus\nEffective communication (Verbal and Written)\nSelf-motivated with the ability to work well within a team environment\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as FSSC and ISO codes, ASTM, safety rules, operating procedures, and manuals.
