Join a team where providers are treated as part of the school community, not as a stopgap, and help students build the communication skills they need to thrive.\nAssignment at a Glance\n\nDetail\nThis role\n\nLocation\nRemote, serving a Kentucky school partner\n\nHours\n17.5 hours per week\n\nCaseload\nElementary caseload, shared with another Parallel SLP; a mix of speech-only students and some case management\n\nDates\nNovember 2026 (ASAP) - May 28, 2027\n\nSchedule\n3:1 model: three weeks of direct therapy each month, plus a set “district week” for evaluations, reports, IEP meetings, and make-ups\n\nTime zone\nWeekday school hours, Central Time\n\nClassification\n1099 independent contractor\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nProvide student-centered, IEP-aligned virtual speech therapy to elementary students.\nUse the monthly district week for evaluations, report writing, IEP meetings, and make-up sessions.\nServe as case manager for a portion of the caseload, coordinating IEP timelines and paperwork.\nPartner with school teams to monitor and refine IEP goals, and join IEP meetings as needed.\nTrack session data and student progress, and write quarterly progress reports.\nDocument services in Infinite Campus and log Medicaid billing in EZ ED MED.\nCollaborate with the district’s special education team and the other Parallel SLP serving this caseload.\nWhat You’ll Need\nCurrent ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).\nActive Kentucky SLP licensure.\nAt least 1 year of school-based experience delivering IEP-directed therapy after your clinical fellowship.\nSolid knowledge of the IEP process, goal writing, case management, and progress monitoring, plus the ability to ramp up quickly on a mid-year start.\nAvailability for 17.5 hours per week during weekday school hours, Central Time.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, families, and school staff.\nComfort with virtual telehealth platforms and digital documentation.\nExperience with Infinite Campus or Medicaid billing is a plus.\nCompensation\nPay starts at $52/hour and varies depending on state and experience. This is a 1099 role only.
