Starting November 2, 2026, this full-time role (1.0 FTE / 37.5 hours/week, EST) focuses on delivering Tier 2 and Tier 3 counseling services for mild/moderate and at-risk student populations in a fully remote setting.\nWhat You’ll Do\nProvide critical direct and indirect social work services to elementary, middle, and high school students and their families, with a primary focus on Tier 2 and Tier 3 counseling services for mild/moderate and at-risk populations.\nCollaborate across school or IEP teams to develop comprehensive, tailored treatment plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that incorporate measurable social work goals.\nServe as a systemic expert by offering staff critical insights into the cultural, familial, and societal factors that influence student behavior, academic performance, and overall well-being.\nLead mental health and behavioral interventions by designing positive behavioral strategies, tracking progress via Panorama, and performing comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations as caseload needs expand.\nSupport families and school staff by providing parental support and guidance to facilitate successful school adjustment, and training educational staff on behavior management techniques and direct support as required.\nWhat You’ll Need\nClinical & Educational Expertise\nActive Clinical Social Worker license (LCSW).\nValid Georgia state certification or license for K-12 School Social Work (GA SSW).\nMinimum of one year of full-time, on-site school social work experience (internships excluded).\nDemonstrated proficiency in all National SSW Practice Model domains.\nExpertise in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) frameworks, counseling, and psycho-educational evaluations.\nTechnical & Communication Skills\nStrong communication skills, specifically tailored for engaging with diverse student populations, families, and school staff.\nTech-savvy approach with preferred experience conducting telehealth services via virtual meeting platforms.\nExperience with Panorama software for data collection, progress monitoring, and survey tracking.\nPrevious experience with remote social work is highly desirable.\nFluency in additional languages is a significant asset.\nRemote Setup & Availability\nAccess to a private, secure workspace with a reliable computer, webcam, and high-speed internet connection.\nFull-time availability for 1.0 FTE (37.5 hours per week) aligned with standard Georgia school hours (EST) starting November 2, 2026.\nCompletion of Parallel onboarding prior to assignment start date (stipend provided for onboarding).\nWhy Join Parallel?\nAt Parallel, we simplify your work so you can focus on what matters most-delivering quality care.
