If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy hands-on work, and want to grow with a company that's shaping the future of the industry, we'd love to meet you.\nPosition Summary\nAs the Daytime Packaging Supervisor, you will oversee daily packaging operations and lead a team responsible for assembling, packaging, and preparing cannabis products for distribution. This role will be supporting our Surterra Wellness operations in Florida.\nWhat You'll Do\nSupervise and coordinate overnight packaging activities to meet production schedules, quality standards, and operational goals\n\nLead teams operating manual, semi-automated, and fully automated packaging equipment\n\nMonitor daily production output and ensure achievement of established productivity and quality targets\n\nOversee assembly and packaging processes for a variety of cannabis products in accordance with company SOPs and state regulations\n\nPromote a culture of safety by enforcing workplace safety procedures and proactively addressing safety concerns\n\nManage daily inventory of cannabis and non-cannabis materials, ensuring accuracy and accountability.\n\nTroubleshoot equipment and process issues and partner with Facilities and Operations teams to resolve concerns efficiently\n\nAssist with workforce scheduling, workload planning, and inventory forecasting to support uninterrupted production\n\nEvaluate process improvements, equipment enhancements, and operational efficiencies in partnership with site leadership\n\nMaintain accurate production, inventory, and compliance documentation\n\nTrain, coach, and develop team members while supporting cross-training initiatives across packaging and production functions\nConduct quality audits and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality control standards\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\nMust be 21 years of age or older\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nValid government-issued photo identification\n1-3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, assembly, packaging, or production environments\n\nExperience working with manual, semi-automatic, and automated packaging equipment\n\nUnderstanding of process manufacturing and production scaling principles\n\nExperience with quality control systems, SOP compliance, and production documentation\n\nStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills\n\nExcellent organizational abilities with proven experience managing multiple priorities\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Operations, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field\n\n1-3 years of cannabis industry experience\n\nKnowledge of cannabis packaging operations, inventory control, raw material tracking, and compliance requirements\n\nExperience leading production or packaging teams in a regulated manufacturing environment\n\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly without assistance\nFrequent use of computers, scanners, and other production-related equipment\n\nAbility to remain stationary for extended periods throughout the shift\n\nAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and production demands\n\nAbility to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting, reaching, packaging, and data entry activities\n\nWhy Join Parallel?\nBe part of the launch of a new cultivation facility in Gainesville\nOpportunity for career growth within one of the nation's leading cannabis companies\nBenefits and Perks: Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
