In this role, you will combine technical leadership, people management, and execution ownership to take AI initiatives from concept through productization and measurable impact.\nYou will define the technical direction and roadmap, lead and grow a multidisciplinary team of AI/ML, software and domain engineers, and work closely with R&D, Product, Systems and global teams to bring scalable AI capabilities into our products.\nWhat you will do:\nLead the AI team and own its technical direction, roadmap and execution.\nDrive AI/ML initiatives from concept and prototyping through production deployment and ongoing optimization.\nDefine clear success metrics and ensure AI solutions deliver measurable product and business impact.\nLead architecture and technical decision-making around AI models, platforms, tools and data.\nBuild and grow a strong multidisciplinary team, including recruitment, mentoring, performance management and career development.\nEstablish strong engineering practices around evaluation, scalability, reliability, monitoring and model lifecycle management.\nWork closely with Product Management, Systems Engineering and R&D teams across Israel, India and the US.\nPartner with RAN and domain experts to identify opportunities where AI can improve network performance, automation and operational efficiency.\nSupport customer-facing discussions, trials and PoCs where relevant.\nWhat you should have:\n3+ years of experience leading engineering teams, with responsibility for people management, hiring and delivery.\n8+ years of experience in software, systems or AI/ML engineering, with a strong technical background.\nProven experience delivering ML or LLM-based solutions into production, with measurable impact and ownership from development through deployment.\nStrong understanding of modern AI technologies and architectures, including LLMs, RAG, AI agents, tool calling, evaluation methodologies and MLOps/LLMOps.\nHands-on familiarity with relevant technologies such as Python, PyTorch, vector databases and modern AI development frameworks.\nStrong ability to evaluate AI opportunities, define technical approaches and translate them into practical, scalable solutions.\nExperience building and developing high-performing technical teams.\nExperience working in a global, cross-functional R&D environment.\nFluent English, written and spoken.\nWhat is nice to have:\nExperience in telecom, RAN, wireless communications, real-time systems or another complex technology domain.\nKnowledge of 4G/5G technologies and network architecture.\nExperience applying ML/AI to network, operational or time-series data.\nExperience developing AI assistants, agentic systems or intelligent automation solutions.\nExperience delivering products to enterprise or telecom customers with high requirements for reliability and performance.\nEducation:\nB.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related
