In this role, you will contribute across the full embedded protocol stack development lifecycle, building new capabilities for future products. We are looking for an experienced engineer with a strong background in real-time systems and 4G/5G communications who thrives in a collaborative, global engineering environment.\nWhat You Will Do\nArchitect and optimize embedded Layer 2/Layer 3 (L2/L3) protocol stack software for 5G cellular systems.\nIdentify new features and software environments for next-generation Parallel Wireless products.\nInvestigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software defects in existing solutions used by customers worldwide.\nInterpret relevant L2/L3 communications standards and technical specifications and translate them into efficient, reliable software implementations.\nCollaborate with engineering teams across multiple sites to integrate, validate, and improve stack functionality and system performance.\nWhat You Bring\nAt least 10+ years of hands-on development experience with embedded or real-time components in multithreaded systems.\nBachelor’s degree or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.\nSolid understanding of communication protocols, with the ability to interpret L2/L3 standards and specifications and implement them effectively.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, multisite organization.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrior development experience with cellular communication standards, particularly 4G LTE and/or 5G NR.\nExperience with containers, Docker, and Kubernetes.\nExperience using telecommunications test and diagnostic tools, such as UE simulators and QXDM.\nHands-on experience working with cellular
