Parallel Wireless is looking for a Product Line Manager to own the strategy, commercial success and lifecycle of a product line in our GreenRAN™ Open RAN portfolio. You will connect operator needs and market opportunities to differentiated products, working with R&D, Sales, partners and customers. We are looking for entrepreneurial judgment that finds real customer value in disruptive technology, beyond standards compliance.
What you will do:
Own strategy, positioning, roadmap, business case and lifecycle decisions, balancing operator value, differentiation, revenue and cost.
Discover operator needs, market shifts and competitive gaps, and turn them into prioritized requirements and releases with clear acceptance criteria.
Spot value in AI/ML, agentic AI, automation, cloud-native RAN, energy innovation and 5G-Advanced/6G, and turn it into lower TCO, new services or new revenue, backed by business cases that go beyond standards compliance.
Lead R&D, System Engineering, QA and Program Management through scope, schedule, quality and cost trade-offs, from concept to launch.
Own pricing and packaging recommendations, forecasts, margin targets, and revenue and adoption KPIs, and adjust the roadmap based on commercial and field results.
Engage operators through roadmap reviews, RFx responses, trials and first deployments, and support Sales and Pre-Sales on deals and proposals.
Manage partners, multi-vendor interoperability, security and regulatory needs, and the relevant 3GPP and O-RAN requirements.
Drive go-to-market and lifecycle execution with Marketing and Sales: positioning, enablement, release readiness, customer feedback and end-of-life plans.
Champion AI-first ways of working, using AI tools for market analysis and product decisions.
What you bring:
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Communications or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. An MBA is an advantage.
Typically 10+ years in telecom or wireless infrastructure, including 5+ years in product management or product line management, or equivalent experience.
A record of taking a product from concept to commercial deployment with operators, including its roadmap, business case, releases and results.
Technical understanding of 2G/3G/4G/5G RAN and of how operators deploy and run RAN products.
Direct operator engagement and sales support across RFx, trials and roadmap reviews.
A value-driven, entrepreneurial approach to AI/ML and emerging technology: start from customer problems, tell value from hype, and prioritize business outcomes.
Strong analytical, pricing and communication skills. You can lead global, matrixed teams through influence, present clearly to executives, customers and engineers, and travel internationally as needed.
Nice to have:
Hands-on Open RAN and multi-vendor RAN experience.
An engineering, system engineering or solutions / pre-sales background.
Experience bringing AI/ML, automation or energy-saving RAN products to market.
Experience with hardware and software product lines, including suppliers and contract manufacturers.
