You will collaborate closely with MAC, System Engineering, Integration, QA, and Product Management teams.\nA key part of the role is leveraging AI-powered tools and agentic software development workflows to accelerate coding, debugging, testing, and delivery\nWhat you will do:\nDesign, develop, and optimize LTE Layer 1 (PHY) software components.\n\nTake ownership of PHY features throughout the development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, integration, and production support.\n\nInvestigate complex software issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize real-time performance.\n\nContribute to software architecture and technical design decisions.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including MAC, System Engineering, Integration, and QA.\n\nImprove software performance, reliability, and maintainability in complex embedded environments.\n\nApply AI-assisted and agentic development tools to improve coding efficiency, debugging, testing, and development workflows.\n\nShare technical knowledge and contribute to engineering best practices.\n\nWhat you should have:\n4+ years of hands-on software development experience in complex embedded or real-time systems.\n\nStrong programming skills in C/C++.\n\nExperience with multithreaded development on Linux-based embedded systems.\n\nSolid understanding of DSP fundamentals and software performance optimization.\n\nStrong debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.\n\nHands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools or LLM-based workflows, with a basic understanding of AI concepts and RAG.\n\nFamiliarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.\n\nNice to have:\nKnowledge of wireless physical layer (PHY), preferably LTE/4G, 5G, or other OFDM-based technologies.\n\nExperience with Open RAN (O-RAN), eNodeB/gNodeB, or baseband software development.\n\nExperience with SIMD optimization (AVX, SSE, NEON) on ARM or x86 platforms.\n\nExperience with MATLAB or Python for algorithm development, simulation, or validation.\n\nExperience with cloud-native telecom platforms, containerized environments, or large-scale wireless systems.\n\nExperience mentoring junior engineers or contributing to software architecture decisions.\n\nEducation:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical
