validation.\nWhat you'll do:\nLeverage existing AI tools (AI coding assistants, LLM-based workflows) to speed up development, code comprehension, debugging, and documentation.\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers within the PHY team, including sharing best practices for automation and AI-assisted development.\nAct as the focal point for all PHY and RF-related aspects.\nDefine and write system-level requirements.\nContinuously optimize and fine-tune PHY-layer algorithms to enhance the performance and efficiency of base-station products.\nBuild automation and internal tooling to streamline PHY development, integration, and lab testing - reducing manual effort and improving repeatability.\nWork within existing codebases and repositories: understand the current architecture quickly, extend it responsibly, and add new capabilities without destabilizing established flows.\nDesign and develop new tools (test harnesses, analysis utilities, reporting dashboards) to support PHY bring-up and validation.\nCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of PHY components with software, digital signal processing (DSP), and other subsystems.\nHands-on lab work.\nWhat you should have:\nAt least 4 years of experience in wireless communication / PHY-layer development or integration.\nGood understanding of RX and TX PHY and RF chains.\nDeep understanding of wireless communication systems.\nWorking experience with RF lab test equipment.\nSolid experience with scripting languages (such as Python) for automation and tool development.\nDemonstrated ability to read, understand, and extend an existing codebase or repository, and to build new tooling on top of it.\nExperience using AI tools (e.g. AI coding assistants / LLM-based workflows) to improve development, debugging, and productivity.\nGood system-level understanding within a multi-disciplinary environment (HW, SW, RF).\nExcellent communication skills in Hebrew and English (written and verbal), team player, and ability to thrive in a global multi-site environment.\nNice to have:\nExperience designing automation frameworks or test-automation pipelines for PHY / RF validation.\nProficient in MATLAB for data analysis, modeling, and simulation.\nInvolvement in research and development projects related to emerging wireless technologies, such as Massive MIMO and beamforming.\nSolid knowledge of the physical-layer specifications of 4G/5G.\nEducation:\nB.Sc. in Electrical/Computer
