You’ll turn fast-moving fixes and releases into verified outcomes, preventing repeat incidents, reducing rework, and helping releases land cleanly across a mixed portfolio of vendor-supported SaaS and custom .NET / Microsoft SharePoint applications.\nRequirements\nQA Analyst / Software Tester (Tier 2 Support - Release & Defect Validation) (PL827)\nOverview\nWe are seeking a QA Analyst / Software Tester for a consulting client. In this role, you will act as the quality gate for Tier 2 fixes, ensuring production stability, ensuring that fast-moving fixes and releases are thoroughly validated before deployment.\nYou will play a critical role in preventing repeat incidents, reducing rework, and ensuring smooth releases across a portfolio of vendor-supported SaaS solutions and custom .NET / Microsoft SharePoint applications.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn Tier 2 validation: Reproduce reported issues, validate fixes, confirm acceptance criteria, and document clear test evidence.\n\nPerform regression and impact testing (manual and automated) to ensure fixes do not affect dependent workflows or systems.\n\nSupport release validation by executing regression and smoke testing for patches, configuration changes, and maintenance releases.\n\nManage defects end-to-end: log, track, retest, and communicate status and risks using tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or TestRail.\n\nBuild and maintain lean, reusable regression test packs and incident-based test scenarios to improve QA efficiency and consistency.\n\nQualifications\n10+ years of experience in QA/testing in enterprise environments (production/operational support experience preferred).\n\nStrong expertise in manual and automation testing for defect validation and release cycles, including targeted retesting and regression.\n\nExperience working with .NET and/or Microsoft SharePoint applications.\n\nFamiliarity with vendor-supported SaaS applications, including validation of vendor fixes and coordination with support teams.\n\nExperience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA, TestRail).\n\nExperience leveraging AI tools to improve productivity in test design, defect analysis, and validation activities is an asset.\n\nStrong documentation skills with the ability to provide clear, stakeholder-ready reporting (test evidence, risks, release readiness).\n\nExperience in writing, updating, debugging and executing automation scripts\n\nExperience in automation tools like Playwright-Typescript, Selenium- Java, Eclipse, VS Code, etc.\n\nExperience in managing a team of QAs, assigning and tracking their work and output (Optional - will be good to have)\n\nNice to Have\nExposure to ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) is an asset.
