You will be responsible for managing database operations, ensuring availability and reliability, performing routine maintenance, and supporting performance and troubleshooting activities. You also need to be technically competent in solid Linux administration skills and familiarity with HA/DR practices.\nAdminister, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL databases in on-premise environments.\nManage and support the Linux systems that underpin database operations.\nEnsure stability, availability, security, and reliability of database services.\nPerform monitoring, performance analysis, tuning, and troubleshooting of database issues.\nExecute routine maintenance, updates, backups, and recovery tasks.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support application and data requirements.\nDocument processes, configurations, and best practices for ongoing improvements.\nBe part of the on-call shift.\nKnowledge and skills you need to have\n2+ years of hands-on experience with:Administration and support of PostgreSQL databases.\nLinux system administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL or similar).\n\nExperience with SQL Server administration.\nUnderstanding of HA/DR concepts, backup strategies, and failover mechanisms\nUnderstanding of data structures, schemas, and database internals.\nWorking knowledge and understanding of technical language.\nUpper-intermediate English level (writing and reading).\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.\nBonus points for the following\nAdditional requirements, not essential but \" nice to have\".\nExperience with MongoDB.\nDatabase DevOps capabilities (automation, scripting, CI/CD for DB operations).\nWhy choose us?\nWe provide the opportunity to be the best version of yourself, develop professionally, and create strong working relationships, whether working remotely or on-site.
