Security Engineer

Job Description :

3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, and security engineering. The candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, monitoring, and optimizing security solutions across customer environments while supporting incident response, vulnerability management, and security compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Deploy, configure, and manage network, endpoint, cloud, and email security solutions.
  • Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM platforms and investigate potential threats.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and remediation tracking.
  • Support incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and recovery.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices, policies, and standards.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to provide technical security guidance and recommendations.
  • Prepare security reports, documentation, and operational runbooks.
  • Assist with security audits, compliance requirements, and security framework implementation.

Required Qualifications:

• • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, or security operations.
  • Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and cloud security.
  • Experience with SIEM, vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft security technologies, including Microsoft Defender.
  • Understanding of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and customer-facing skills.

Preferred Certifications:

• • Certified in Cybersecurity (CC)
  • CCNA/CCNP Security
  • Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, or equivalent vendor certifications
  • Microsoft Security certifications
