Reporting to our VP of Operations or Senior Operations Manager, this hands-on role will inspect and maintain our spaces, complete routine repairs, lead the daily cleaning team, and manage outside vendors. We believe life's best moments happen around the table, and the condition of our spaces is part of every guest's experience. This role ensures that every area is clean, safe, and set to our standards for our team members and guests.\nRequirements\nWalk the building each day, including offices, private dining rooms, event spaces, patio, and grounds, to make sure everything is set to our standards and the previous evening's work is up to par \nCatch imperfections before guests do: scuffs, paint touch-ups, loose fixtures, burned-out bulbs, lighting settings, and candles in our private rooms \nKeep our plants, planters, and patio furniture thriving, and lend a hand in our on-site greenhouse when projects come up \nKeep walkways, curbs, and outdoor spaces clean and safe, placing anti-slip mats and preparing the building for changing weather \nMeet with cleaning team daily at 5pm and delegate cleaning and maintenance tasks, and assign or complete maintenance orders \nKeep our catering storerooms clean, organized, and securely locked; touch up inventory with paint, flag repairs, and communicate when items need to be reordered \nPerform routine maintenance and make repairs as needed, from patching drywall and tightening hardware to swapping filters and changing bulbs \nSchedule routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors \nVerify that locks and workplace security measures are in working order \nCheck fire extinguisher dates and arrange service before they expire \nMeet with our pest control representative and share operational feedback with department heads \nKeep logs, checklists, and maintenance schedules, and report on maintenance, repairs, safety, and other occurrences to leadership and relevant team members \nCollaborate with upper management on the facilities budget \nSupport our warehouse team on busy days with organization, inventory, and full-service event pack-outs \nParticipate in monthly inventory as assigned \nTake on special projects for company leadership, as assigned \nSkills and qualifications:\nDetail-oriented: you notice and correct problems others overlook \nMechanically skilled, with working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems, and proficiency with repair tools and techniques \nHighly organized, with a system for logs, checklists, and maintenance schedules \nA clear, friendly communicator who can talk with everyone from guests and vendors to team members at every level \nA self-starter who manages time well, prioritizes calmly, and solves problems efficiently without needing someone over your shoulder \nComfortable leading a team, and committed to keeping the facility working well \nAbility to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and to stand and move for extended periods while working on projects \nAbility to drive with a valid drivers license \nHours:\nTuesday through Saturdays approx. 8:00am to 5:30 pm , Sundays/Mondays - as needed\nCompensation:\nThis is a full-time role (hourly nonexempt at $25-28/hr at 40hrs per week;
