The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality software delivery through strong manual testing, automation, API validation, and end-to-end testing practices.\nThis role requires a balance of hands-on manual testing expertise and automation capabilities, along with strong collaboration across cross-functional teams. You will play a key role in identifying quality risks early and driving continuous improvements in testing processes.\nUnderstand business and technical requirements and convert them into detailed test scenarios and test cases. \nDesign, develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and API-based applications. \nPerform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and sanity testing. \nValidate end-to-end workflows across UI, API, and database layers. \nConduct UI testing to ensure functionality, usability, and cross-browser compatibility. \nPerform API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger (validate requests, responses, status codes, and data integrity). \nExecute database testing using SQL queries to validate data accuracy and backend processing. \nIdentify, log, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps. \nCollaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, and Business teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues. \nParticipate in test planning, execution, reporting, and release sign-off activities. \nSupport UAT activities and coordinate with stakeholders for validation and issue resolution. \nDevelop and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts (UI/API). \nIntegrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines. \nAnalyze test results and communicate quality metrics to stakeholders. \nMentor junior QA team members and contribute to QA process improvements. \nActively participate in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.\nKey Competencies:\nStrong attention to detail with a quality-first mindset\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills\nAbility to work independently and take ownership\nStrong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams\nMentoring and leadership capabilities\nContinuous learning and adaptability\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\nRequired Skills and Experience:\n7-8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing. \nStrong expertise in Manual Testing methodologies and processes. \nHands-on experience in: \nAPI Testing (Postman, Swagger, REST APIs)\nUI/Web Testing\nSQL/Database Testing (complex queries, joins, validations)\nExperience in test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent. \nKnowledge of BDD/TDD tools like Cucumber, SpecFlow, or Gherkin. \nExperience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks. \nStrong understanding of SDLC and STLC. \nExperience working with microservices and backend systems. \nFamiliarity with Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar tools. \nExperience in defect tracking, test management, and reporting. \nExperience in cross-browser and cross-platform testing. \nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure). \nExposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6. \nKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. \nExperience in containerized environments. \nRelevant certifications such as ISTQB or Agile Testing certifications\nAgile Methodology:\nStrong experience working in Agile development environments.\nHands-on exposure to Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and XP methodologies.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and continuously evolving
